In order to a salt refinery unit to work raw salt has to be transported to the refinery unit from saltern. Salt is harvested from saltern and sent to the refinery unit in huge 12 or 14 wheel tipper trucks these tipper trucks are capable of handling upto 45 MT of salt transportation, to load these huge trucks excavators or manual labor loading is used, Excavators are preferred for loading salt as huge load has to load in a short period of time.
